Feature & Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read. The two blogs they are featuring this week: Compelled By Words & The Bookshelf Review.

Q: What would you do over if you were to start your blog again from scratch?

I think I would've networked more & I would've started out with wordpress. Then the change to host my own blog (once I got to that point) would've been easier. Now that most of my followers are via GFC rather than linky or whatever else, it's a hassle for me to want to change it & host my own blog via wordpress.

Other than that, I actually redid my blog a while ago since I wasn't happy with my content before. Now that I've changed it to my liking, I'm quite happy. More things are coming down the line of course, but since my blog is relatively new, I wouldn't do anything too drastically different if I were to restart.

Wonder how everyone's answer will differ from this question :0) Leave a link & let me know if you are a new follower or old.

Good answer! I love your blog both content and layout! I've been hearing about everyone switching to WordPress, is it better?

Nice answer! I really like the layout you have now! :)
I've heard of a lot of people changing from blogger to wordpress--does it have more features of something??

I was about to change to wordpress, but it is such a pain to go from blogger to wordpress. With all of the HTML I really don't think it is worth unless you are a 100% sure that your blog is going to better on wordpress. I have heard good and bad things about wordpress too. Is wordpress better at all?

Lots of people are saying they would start with wordpress. I think I have an account there still, but it was harder for me to navigate so I stuck with blogger.

Here's my Friday Hops

Have a GREAT weekend!

I love your blog how it is now! I'm curious about what else may be coming though...

I definitely agree with networking more - I'm pretty hopeless at it! It is easier to switch to wordpress if that's where you start, but I'm sure it must be possible...are you that fussed about moving?

I'm an RSS follower :)

I changed from WP to blogger. I found WP to have to many formatting issues with it and there was to many things you couldn't do. In the end I moved over and think Blogger is better for me.

I go back and forth on which I prefer..I prefer in Wordpress that it is easy to read people's posts..it's all in one reader..and when people comment to your comments it shows up in the top right corner and you can reply right there without going to their blog.
However I think it's easier to social network on blogger though!
